Triangle "C" Arabians / Jet Set Arabians (mother/daughter team) Triangle C Arabians is located near Spokane, Washington, owned by Bobi (mother) Jet Set Arabians is located in Portland, Oregon, owned by Jacquie (daughter) The common denominator between LASA Horses, Triangle C Arabians, and Jet Set Arabians is the champion producing BLACK mare, Desert Sabrina. |

Desert Sabrina was purchased from Desert Hills Arabians in Grand Junction, Co. by LASA Horses at the age of 16. She had 3 lovely foals for LASA Horses (Kharisma, LASA Cheers, LASA Charm). She was sold to Triangle "C" Arabians where she had 2 more great foals. Bobi's daughter Jacquie, purchased an awesome stud by Desert Sabrina X AAF Kaset named Jet Set at the age of 16 years. She brought him to SR Horse Training where Gord Hester rode him to his Scottsdale top 5 in a bitted working cow horse class (story below). Bobi won a 1st and 2nd with Jet Set in Western Pleasure Limit in the Spokane Arabian Horse Show, and 1st at the Regional Pre Show, and Top 5 Region 5 Western Pleasure Limit (pictured above). |

We enjoyed excellent weather the whole time, shopping like we rarely get the chance to do, enjoying watching all the classes though sometimes it was hard to prioritize! We did have some frustrations and worry with Jet Set coming up lame the morning of his first classes. After as thorough an exam as possible by the vet, his ultra sound and x ray equipment had been stolen earlier in the week, we decided to try Jet Set in his first class. He did an amazing job! Very likely the oldest horse competing there and with the least amount of training, he came in 5th against seasoned horses in the Bitted Working Cow Horse class. After giving him a rest and re-evaluating before his next class, we again made the decision to run him. We didn't place, as we had already decided to use this class for training purposes since the show management had decided not to provide practice cows this year, so purposefully disqualified ourselves. He looked great again though! After running the two classes, on Saturday, and with him still being lame, and no way to tell how serious it was, we decided to pull him from the Championship class on Sunday. It was a disappointment for sure, but we'd rather have a happy, healthy horse to take home! And happy and healthy he is! He's sound as ever, and went on to compete in Western Pleasure over the summer. Garnering a Top 5 at the Region 5 show!! |
